Glen Dimick

Glen Dimick is principal tubist for the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra and the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, also serving on faculty at Indiana State University and the University of Indianapolis. His principal teachers include Daniel Perantoni, Floyd Cooley, and Alan Baer.Mr. Dimick has earned degreesfrom Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music (B.M.)andDePaul University(M.M.)He is currently finishing his document for a DMA at Indiana. During his time at DePaul, he maintained a large low brass studio and free lancein Chicago.

Mr.Dimick has also served on faculty at Murray State in Kentucky and at the Jacobs School as Adjunct-Lecturer of tuba. He is a substitute member of the Louisville Symphony,recordinmusician in Indianapolis,and has played with such groups as the Madison Brass, Camerata Orchestra, and Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. He is also a founding member of the Mirari Brass Quintet, a chamber ensemble dedicated to new music and the evolution of brass literature.
