What is a Green Room?

In green rooms from Carnegie Hall to the Beijing Central Conservatory, performers prepare their minds and body for what awaits them on the concert stage. 

The GreenRoom is an online place for performing artists to prepare their hearts, minds, and spirits for their artistic lives.  Its purpose is to spiritually equip and network classical performing artists so they may have a strong influence in their artistic communities for Jesus and his Kingdom.

In The GreenRoom, you will find:

• Resources for performing artists on their spiritual journey.  Lectures, articles, and videos are designed to help visitors consider the integration between faith and art, examine the plausibility of the Christian worldview, and assist in spiritual formation on a personal and communal level.

• an interactive map of current performing artist Gatherings around the globe.  A Gathering is a small group of performing artists who come together regularly to investigate and live out the teachings of Jesus.

• a list of annotated initiatives.  These creative ideas are designed to help performing artists advance the teachings of Jesus in their artistic communities.  They are organized under three broad categories: evangelism, service, and discipleship.
