The Dickson Quartet

After attending the 2007 MWF, Ashley, Daniel, Brandon and Benjamin made it their focus to glorify Christ through their Dickson String Quartet. “It has been super cool to see the Lord honor that decision over the summer,” Benjamin says. “We have had many people tell us they enjoy our playing because there’s something different about us. This has opened the doors for us to share about our faith in Christ.” Since January, 2008, the String Quartet learned 11 quartet pieces; were coached by the Pacifica Quartet, had a masterclass with June Iwasaki, Concertmaster of the Oregon Symphony, attended two string quartet camps where at one, the Arianna Quartet, resident Quartet at the University of Missouri Saint Louis, offered each of the Dickson’s full scholarships.
