Ryan Webber

Ryan Webber, MWF '07, graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Trombone Performance in the Spring of 2008. He expresses that his senior year was a "roller coaster ride," continually questioning the direction of his life post-graduation - he wasn't sure if a career in performance was for him. However, while he was preparing for his senior recital, he rediscovered his love for music in a profound way, realizing that music was a passion he wanted to pursue. Ryan is currently the principal trombone with the Corona Symphony, associate director for the Community Youth Orchestra of Southern California, and a regular guest with the jazz combo Open Fifth. He plans to continue his studies at the postgraduate level and would like to eventually teach and conduct at the collegiate level.
