Kristina (Lobenhofer) Tanner

Since attending MasterWorks 2003 and 2004 as a student, Kristina has returned to MasterWorks as a staff accompanist, which she finds to be wonderful fun and a huge blessing - and, of course, a challenge! In addition, she got married to a wonderful man named Matthew from her church in November of 2008, in an amazing answer to prayer that she'd gladly tell everyone about. Since MasterWorks, she's finished her Master's at Peabody and her Doctorate at the University of Maryland (College Park) and started teaching piano, music appreciation, music theory and ear training at Patrick Henry College in Northern Virginia. She loves to teach and considers herself blessed to be able to do what she loves, while being married to a wonderful man. She and her husband also just found out that they are expecting their first child in October 2009, which is another new adventure! Both of them are excitedly waiting to see what God might do next in their lives.
