Fausto Varela

After graduating from Universidad Nacional Autonoma Honduras in July of 2008, Fausto has been working at the Honduras National Conservatory as the guitar and guitar ensemble instructor and performing frequently. Recently he gave an entire program of Spanish music, including Op. 145 by Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco, which he performed with his girlfriend, Jackeline Valenzuela. Currently, Fausto is working with fellow MasterWorks alums on a project entitled CONCERTI SA. For this project, they are organizing concerts and creating spaces for artists to perform all around his country, while simultaneously giving younger artists the opportunity to gain experience on stage. His prayer is that this will be a huge opportunity to reach artists for Christ. Fausto would also like to announce that he and Jackie are planning to be married by the end of 2009!
