David Pert

David Pert, MWE '04-'05, shares that Masterworks Europe was a real Godsend to him, as he attended at a time when he was feeling very discouraged about music making. It really helped him to refocus my thinking and the priorities he held with the musical side of his life. Furthermore, it encouraged him in his work as a Christian union leader at his college. He is now a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and since graduating he has worked primarily as a teacher and accompanist, where he has learned so much from his students. He is also involved with the music in his local church and a bible study for International students. He is currently working part-time towards a Masters degree in Music Education and working independently for a Masters level performance qualification. In addition he is launching a network for piano teachers in Wales to share ideas and support one another through the auspices of EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association) UK. Perhaps the biggest news this year, however, is that God has wonderfully blessed him with a fianceé! He and Naomi are to be married in August 2009 and are excited to see what God will have them both be involved with in the future.
