MasterWorks Movement

What is a MasterWorks Movement?

The MasterWorks Movement is a major initiative of the Christian Performing Artists’ Fellowship. MasterWorks Movements may take different shapes in different locations, but the mission is always the same: to influence their local arts culture through the message of the Gospel. In some locations, this may look like a group of Christians praying for their arts community. In another, perhaps the main thrust is weekly Bible studies for artists. Another may focus on meeting monthly for worship and times of sharing. In all cases, these artists will be praying for God to work in their local arts culture and looking for ways to share the gospel. Encouragement and edification of believers, evangelism of non-believers, and discipleship of new believers are the main objectives of this MasterWorks Movements.

From our perspective at the CPAF headquarters, our purpose statement for this branch of our ministry is to effectively train, equip, send out, and maintain relationship with artists who will influence others in their educational and professional arts institutions with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through local MasterWorks Movements.
